Style - I received the Green color, and it's very on-trend right now. The shape is modern and rounded, providing a clean and compact appearance.Versatility - We use it for carrying school supplies for substitute teaching, or while traveling as a carry on. Its very light, surprisingly light, however don't mistake the weight in this instance for quality. More on that later.Storage capacity & Functionality - Has a large water bottle pocket on each side, sizeable enough for even the largest water bottles you have, but not too lose that they will be bouncing around. The elastic band on top will keep the bottles secure. Has two pockets on front, with a the one on the bottom being larger. The top pocket has a handy hook for clipping your keys inside of it, so even if you were to have the top pocket opened and dropped the bag, your keys will remain securely attached. The main pocket has room for a 15.6" laptop and my macbook fit just fine with room to spare. There are 2 slots for pens/pencils, and a couple pockets on each side for flat items like notepaper or credit cards.On the back, there is a firm strap which allows you to slide the backpack over your rolling luggage handle, making it easier to transport through the airport terminal. My favorite feature however is the hidden pocket on the bottom half of the padded back area, where you can hide your passports and wallet. That way somebody standing behind you would not be able to simply open a front pocket and steal them without your knowledge.Comfort - Initially, I thought the back padding was a little thin. However, upon wearing it while filled with items, I realized that the back padding was an advantage, as the bag conforms more to your back, making it more comfortable to walk on. This area could be a trade off as other backpacks have more padding but also come with a more stiff feel, which can be less comfortable, like having a flat item pressed against your rounded back. I like the material, it is smooth against your skin, it doesn't have that scratchy nylon texture that most other bags have.Functionality - This bag has an uncommon feature - a tightening strap on each side towards the top. This allows you to compress the bag. This will be especially handy when full of clothes while traveling, as we can tighten it down to reduce the exterior size of the bag. Great for sliding under the airplane seat in front of you.Quality - Surprisingly good quality. All zippers, straps, sewing, materials, padding, and plastic strap connectors give me confidence that this bag will be in use for years. It's made out of recycled soda bottles, so it is light, feels relatively water resistant, and doesn't feel like there are any areas that would be prone to tearing.Value - Definitely a strong value here between quality, size, and comfort. This bag will compete with any other bag under $100 for less than have the price.Negatives - Trying to nitpick here as no product is perfect. Negatives for this bag: It could use a little more padding on the back. When carrying heavy items like books, the bottom of it does not visually look flat on your back as you can see the weight of the books bending the bottom of the backpack in a V-shape. Some other backpack brands put something like firm plastic or cardboard on the bottom so that it keeps a flat shape while in use. This also helps those bags to stand upright when set on the floor. Ultimately, this is more of a cosmetic nitpick more than anything else.Buy Again Factor - I'd buy it again without a second thought, and recommend to you, family, and friends. Good bag with minimal subtle branding that I truly expect to last.
