An Advanced Harness System with 10 adjustment points and breathable suspension system ensures you can comfortably carry your gear no matter where your adventure takes you. Use your Reno Backpack as a gear pack, with multiple storage and gear hanging options, or as a daily use pack for school or work.
In Daypack mode, the Reno 48 Backpack can hold one pro DSLR with lens attached, 3-4 extra lenses, a flash unit, accessories (memory cards, cables, battery and charger) and an iPad with personal gear storage in the upper compartment.
The Reno Backpack provides additional storage such as a bottle holder, a front accessory pocket for a tablet, memory cards and cables and storage for personal gear in the upper compartment (when not using as a gear pack).
Protect your gear from rain and dust with the included rain cover (discreetly tuck this cover away when not in use).
Nylon webbing on both shoulder straps allow accessories to be hung where they can be easily accessed. Bring your monopod along with you by slipping it into the right side tripod pocket and securing it with a quick cinch cable.
An Advanced Harness system with 10 adjustment points and a Breathable Suspension System, the Reno backpack provides comfortable gear carrying.
I'll start off stating that I'm a bag addict. Yup! First step has been made by admitting I have a problem. I've been unhappily using an older Tenbra backpack for a few years now. It was great at the time but a lot in the way of material technology has changed in the past 5 years. Searching for a more well designed, comfortable, practical but lighter weight option was my goal. I tried a few different options but have happily settled on this Reno. I come from the world of lightweight and ultra lightweight camping/hiking. Names like ULA, Osprey, Arrowhead, etc. come to mind. This bag would almost fit right in but it's too comfortable! There is a good amount of padding and the straps are just right. I've worn this all day with a good load and had no real issues. I am able to fit a camera body, zoom macro, wide angle, prime lens, flash, battery charger and a few filters in the bottom padded box(see Pictures). That keeps things snug. I would like to carry a zoom lens, and maybe another prime lens, OR how about my kit lens, just in case. Might as well grab the other flash and maybe softbox...Okay okay... enough is enough! Like I stated earlier. I wanted something that limits what I can carry making it light and comfortable. Maybe more challenging but pushes me to use my equipment in either different ways. It's about using my skills and not all of my stuff. I'm sure there are tougher bags made of tougher materials that can handle a heavier load but that's not what this bag is for. To me it fits right between a tough bag and a ultra light bag. The padded box comes out and can be put in other bags making this bag a full function standard backpack. The waste belt is removable which keeps it out of the way without having to cut the bag up. I added some heat shrink tubing in a bright color to the zipper pulls on the camera compartment to not only see them easier but have a better grip. I added a molle style pouch to the shoulder strap on one side and small pouch for camera batteries to the other. The molle pouch gives me quick access to a grey card, notebook, pen, flashlight and a battery pack. I also put my wallet in it at events so I can keep an eye on it! The side pockets hold a small Plano dry box perfect! The top pocket is your catch all for whatever odd shape stuff you may need. Rain jacket, extra shirt, first aid kit, small cat. I keep my rode mic and accessaries in there as well as small souvenirs I find along the way. The media pocket fits an iPad SNUG. I have a thin case on the iPad though. Ok enough praises, what about the stuff I don't like... well if you look at the bag for what it is, there's not a lot to hate. It's purpose built. I don't like the belt, it's too thin and doesn't have much adjustment vertically but it's removable. The thing I hate most is that they don't make it anymore... so I bought two! I also bought the Reno 45 in Brown for an EDC bag because I like these so much.So there.
