Also the pump features Viton seals that can be easily changed within minutes without tools up to 7x faster than the leading competitor. The premium shut-off offers a comfort grip, lockable trigger to prevent hand fatigue, and a removable in-line filter to reduce clogging. The Field King Max 190348 Backpack Sprayer is capable of spraying up to 150 PSI - perfect for those hard-to-reach areas. The included pressure regulator maintains a low, continuous 25 PSI great for spraying herbicides. The foldable pump handle reverses for left- or right-handed use, and the tank has a built-in carry handle with wand storage. Our deluxe harness features a full back pad, wide support waist belt and chest cinch strap ensuring comfort while you work. The Field King Max 190348 Backpack Sprayer (with stainless steel wand) arrived well packaged. Some assembly was required. All necessary instructions and bolts/nuts were included. Depending on skill level, it may take 10-20 minutes to get it ready for action. The pump handle can be mounted on the left or right depending on user's preference. For the money, the build quality is surprisingly good. The materials of construction seem well chosen and feel just right. There are volume graduations in gallons on one side of the tank and in liters on the other. The in-line filter at the top of the wand is a great feature and prevents the tip from getting suddenly clogged (which could lead to frustration as you may have already experienced with sprayer that lack the in-line filters). The harness straps are wide, nicely padded and designed to support the weight of a full 4-gallon tank. The sprayer is comfortable even if worn for an hour. Since this is a one-size-fits-all harness, the designers,obviously, could not accommodate everybody. The sprayer could feel a little too big to users who are size "small" (with the upper buckle being uncomfortably close to throat level) and it seems built to fit users all the way up to size XXXL. Pump lever action requires little effort and spray pattern is consistent for about 10 seconds once the tank is fully pressurized. All connections are well sealed and do not leak. After 3 months of once-a-week use, the sprayer continues to perform flawlessly without any need of maintenance (other than the thorough rinsing with water after each use). Overall, this is a sprayer with consistently good performance at a reasonable price.
